- ―Roy Tillman
Roy Tillman is the main antagonist of Fargo Season 5.
Overview[]
Roy Tillman is one of those constitutional sheriffs, a rancher preacher, defender of the American gospel. A man who works from sunup to sundown shepherding God’s land. In Roy’s own reality, he is the law and therefore is above the law; he’s the judge, jury and too often the executioner.
History[]
Early life[]
Roy presumably grew up in rural North Dakota, born to an unnamed woman and father, the later of whom was a sheriff as was Roy’s grandfather. Roy followed in their footsteps and was elected sheriff at the age of 25. At some point he married a woman named Linda and together they had a son, Gator. Eventually Linda disappeared under mysterious circumstances, and Roy later married Nadine Bump on June 3, 2007 at his ranch. A few years later she ran away and was presumed dead. He would then go on to remarry again, to a Karen Little.
