Colin Hanks is an American actor most known for his roles in the film Life In Pieces, Roswell, Band of Brothers, and Dexter. He is the eldest son of actor Tom Hanks.
Hanks stars as Gus Grimly in the first season of FX's Fargo. Hanks' role as Grimly earned him a Critics' Choice Television Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor in Movie/Miniseries and a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or Movie. He was also a Golden Globe Nominee for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Miniseries or Motion Picture Made for Television.
