Bucky is a minor character in the movie Fargo. He is a customer of Gustafson Motors.
Biography[]
The only notable thing about Bucky's background is that at some point, he married.
Fargo[]
In January 1987, Bucky became a customer at Gustafson Motors to have a new car. The Executive Sales Manager Jerry Lundegaard told him that he can sell him a car with a price of $19,500 dollars with no TruCoat sealant since Bucky has established that he isn't in interested the sealant. But when Jerry called him and his wife up to make the payment, Jerry tries to increase the price by trying to make Bucky accept the TruCoat anyway, making the excuse that if Bucky gets the car without the sealant, his new car could potentially gain oxidation issues, but Bucky keeps telling him he doesn't want the TruCoat. When a frustrated Bucky puts his foot down during the debate, Jerry pretends to speak to his boss/father-in-law Wade Gustafson, only to come back and say that Wade said the TruCoat will be reduced by $100.
Bucky immediately sees that Jerry has lied to him and hurls abuse at him for this. Nevertheless, seeing as how getting Jerry to sell him the car with no sealant is a lost cause, Bucky angrily gets his checkbook out and pays for the now overpriced car. Unknown to Bucky, Jerry is only overcharging to pay off some debts he's got himself into.
