Billy Bob Thornton is an American actor, screenwriter, director and musician. He has a number of film and television credits, including roles in Armageddon, Monster's Ball, Bandits, The Man Who Wasn't There and Bad Santa.
His latest performances are in Amazon's Goliath, London Fields, and A Million Little Pieces.
Thornton stars as Lorne Malvo in the first season, as well as providing the opening narration of Peter & The Wolf for the season three episode The Narrow Escape Problem. Thornton's role as Lorne Malvo in season one of Fargo earned him a nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor In a Miniseries or TV Movie at the Emmy Awards and won him Best Actor In Miniseries or TV Movie at 72nd Golden Globe Awards.
